The Santa Bench
Thirteen distinct Santa designs sit in this collection, which is more than most stores carry across their whole holiday range. Classic Santa with toys and a tree, worked in wool needlepoint. Red Twinkle Santa and Happy Santa in holly green, pulled loop by loop as hooked wool, the farmhouse-leaning pieces that sit well against a plain mantel. St Nick against a star. Santa with a cardinal on his shoulder. A vintage Santa and a retro cartoon Santa in printed designs for a lighter price point. If you collect one figure and add to it every December, this is the one to collect.
Beyond Santa
Embroidered Christmas pillows carry the largest pieces here: nutcrackers including an XL version. The Night Before Christmas and a Christmas Carol, both embroidered. Twelve Days of Christmas. North Pole and South Pole city scenes. Cardinals in four different treatments, from a needlepoint red cardinal to a snowman-and-cardinal pairing. Reindeer with candy canes, festive deer wreaths, and winter woodland reindeer. Holly, poinsettia, peppermint swirls, snowflakes, ice skates and a sled, a snowman with a puppy in stockings, and for the lake house, a Christmas sailboat. Dog people are covered too, with a Scottie, a black lab puppy, playing snow dogs, and a Peace On Earth design.
Hand-Stitched and Printed, and How to Tell
Most pillows here are hand-stitched: needlepoint worked in wool, hooked designs pulled loop by loop, and embroidery, with some pieces taking an artisan up to a week. A group of festive designs is printed for a lighter price point, and every one of them says "Printed" in the product name. Hand-stitched pieces are the ones that come back out for decades. Printed pieces are the easy seasonal accent or the kids' room pillow. Each product page states its construction plainly, so you always know which you are choosing.
What Ships and When
Most orders ship within 1 to 2 business days, and every pillow arrives with a poly insert included, with a down fill upgrade offered on select designs. Orders over $79 ship free within the continental US. If you are buying for December, the wool pieces are the ones worth ordering early, since hand-stitched inventory does not restock quickly once a design sells through.
