Pretty Good, worked in embroidered needlepoint, made up as a throw pillow. The canvas is covered stitch by stitch and the highlights are embroidered in afterwards, so the design has two levels of texture.

Adds texture and pattern to a plain sofa. Put it beside a plain velvet or linen cover and let the stitch work carry the difference.

PRETTY GOOD AT BAD DECISIONS runs four lines deep in blue letters straight on the cream ground, with no panel around it. Brushy animal-print marks in pink, blue, yellow and teal scatter along the border, and pink piping trims the lumbar. The four-line stack is what makes it land.
