Sarcasm's My Love, worked in embroidered needlepoint, made up as a throw pillow. The canvas is covered stitch by stitch and the highlights are embroidered in afterwards, so the design has two levels of texture.
A small, unsentimental way to say it. The stitched ground stays flat and even, so the embroidered detail is the part that catches the light.
SARCASM IS MY LOVE LANGUAGE in pink lettering on a cream panel with a thin pink frame. The ground behind is pale blue strewn with small pink roses and green leaves, and pale piping edges the lumbar. Prettier than the sentiment deserves, which is the joke.
